Gardening brings to me a feeling of peace and joy. I love to go out each morning to check on my little wall garden and see how things are progressing. Being outside rejuvenates me and calms me at the same time. I feel the sun and the breeze and watch butterflies and bees among the flowers and plants.
My kids often join me to check on the garden or to help with the small harvests. They tease me about how animated I am at each development. I’m definitely not an expert, but have found success with some plants and have loved those!
We just ordered and planted a raspberry bush in the spring. It is so exciting to see dozens of little flowers and buds on the branches turning into actual raspberries.
The berries are just starting to turn red this week and I can’t wait to pick them!
