This is the last week of high school for my senior! Where did the time go?
Looking at the change from my little baby to this beautiful young adult, I wonder if we did enough. Did she feel loved and encouraged enough? Did we teach her all that she needs to know?
I hope and think she looks at her time at high school with sentimentality and positivity. I hope before she heads off to college that she looks at her life at home and feels love, gratitude, and nostalgia.
The truth of the matter is, we didn’t do it perfectly and I’m sure we didn’t teach her everything. But that’s okay. We did our best and she’ll go out into the world to find her own place and learn her own lessons. She’s got drive and spunk and compassion and a desire to change the world. We love her and will miss her and we’re excited to see what she does!
