Parker Restaurant Review Spice Kitchen

One of my favorite things to do in Parker is eat out. I especially love supporting locally owned non-chain restaurants. Recently a new restaurant opened in Downtown Parker called Spice Kitchen. With this new addition I thought it would be a great opportunity to invite a friend to lunch and check them out.

I’m going to be honest. I have only had Indian food once in my life and it was so long ago that I don’t really remember how it was. However, my friend has enjoyed Indian food many times and she promised to help guide me through the menu. Spice Kitchen’s fare is Indian-Nepali so has some great unique twists.

The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the rennovated space and how nice of a job the owners have done. Many people were enjoying lunch and we sat down to check things out.

Their menu is very deep with lots of choices that all sounded delicious. My friend made several recommendations and we decided to try a variety of things. I will be honest, it was very hard to choose because everything sounded amazing.

When our food arrived what struck me first was the incredible aroma and freshness of our entrees. The spices were perfect, not too much and not too little, and really added to the overall flavor of the dishes. The vegetables were fresh and the chicken cooked to perfection.

I also really liked that the portion sizes were very generous. In fact, we quickly realized there was no way we were going to finish everything at lunch so it made for wonderful take home meals. I made almost three meals out of my left overs and I’m sure my friend did too.

We were also very happy with how nice and attentive the staff was. We were seated right away when we arrived and our food was prepared promptly. We were enjoying our conversation so much that we may have lingered a bit too long and we never felt rushed.

If you are looking for something new and exciting to try in Parker then consider stopping by Spice Kitchen for lunch or dinner. They are located in the Parker Station Building at 19751 E Mainstreet in Downtown Parker. You can follow them on facebook as well at
